pentax optio w90 anyone got one????

im looking to get a camera to take into the canopy with me. the pentax w90 looks good to me it is shockproof and waterproof and has a 1cm macro program.

Just read the spec sheet, looks pretty good for up around canopies.

 

Just be mindful of not damaging/scratching lens whilst in amongst leaves/twigs etc....

We have used the older versions of these. very good point and shot auto focus etc. It is a bit weird washing it under a tap when it gets dirty. Never had a problem with them.

it should be good for the canopy thing and taking close up pics of fungi. it will be in my pocket or round my neck to avoid damage

i was particularly interested in the macro ilumination and distance as insects will be getting photographed.

I have a W80 and its ok.

well i got the camera and its great i havent taken many pics yet but here are a few.

 

the macro is amazing cant wait to go for a fungal forage.

 

it has loads of easy programs and is fairly small.
