What's the plan for the tree David? Looks like very early stages off fibre buckling just distal to the fungi, possibly...

Not one of mine Kevin, up in Suffolk near to home.

 

Inspection regime in place, but unless carried out at the same time as the fruiting, I think it would be difficult to identify & appraise

 

If it was a roadside limb I would feel inclined to make contact with the land managers and report, as I've had dialogue with them in the past.

Random spot of Perenniporia fraxinea on a roadside London Plane.

Fruiting is sited all around the base, would imagine white rot is fairly extensive across the lower section of this trunk.
