You have to ponder on what's going on here.

 

A tree having a break in the middle of a loooooong complete take down, or a monolith?

 

If the latter, it seems a bit close to potentially high targets :confused1:

Choice of location being the issue here, not host & its associated fung.

Ok if its subject to inspection, but what if not ?

 

Targets unlikely to change, but condition of the tree will.

 

(just for the record, incase anyone lives on Ganymede or somewhere further a field and is not intune with my pro dead-wood retention. I do lean toward retain dead standing trees :001_rolleyes:)
