Wood wanted for milling demos at apf Staffs - can you help?

Myself and Loglogic need a load of timber for milling demos at the apf show. This would need to be dropped off on the 20th or the 21st September on site at Cannock Chase, Rugeley, Staffordshire.

We would like all hardwood either oak, beech, ash or elm or any other hard woods you may have.

4x 3ft to 3.5ft diameter - 8ft to 12ft long.

9x 2ft to 2.5ft diameter - 8ft to 12ft long.

I was thinking there's 2 ways of playing this.

1) We could just pay for the timber as a straight deal or :

2) (and preferably) you could drop the timber off and it will be milled for you for free (to your requirements) ready to be picked up at the end of the show.

On our stand we will have running a full collection of chainsaw mills, a Peterson 8" swingmill and an auto trek bandsaw mill.

If you need more info please post, PM or call 07811611457.

Cheers, Rob

Ho Ho! :laugh1:

Thanks Charlie - yes if you could ask around as there's plenty of time yet. Someone could do well out of it as they'll have their timber milled for free as close as possible to how they want it milled.
