When I was a boy, I was a mad keen cyclist, cycled every where.

 

One day just before Christmas I found a purse in the road, it had been run over.

 

It had £80 in it and a death certificate.

 

I took it too the cop shop.

 

Turned out it belonged to an old lady, it was her double pension, to see her over Xmas and new year.

 

I dread to think what may have happened to her if she had not got it back, many old people are too proud to ask for help.

I remember losing my wallet and some kind chap cancled all my cards and managed to get my mobile number and hand it back. there are some decent people knocking about.
