a second trip to Whippendell with the little tribe today.

 

Blue bells out in force, and hardly a soul in sight :thumbup:

 

Bumped into Mick Stockbridge chilling on a gano though :confused1:

 

Realy like the cute little beech dicot emerging out of the dead old stump.

you doing forestry &/or Arb contract or employed there Brushcutter ?

 

What a fine site to work at :thumbup1:

I'm a forester there employed full time. It's a fine site to work. Just finished the tree surveying seen a lot of fungi. If you haven't you should check out the beech pollards up at Frisden and the big beeches along the college road.

Me and the boys had been out watching it develope over a couple of weeks out from a woodpecker hole.

 

The saddo in me wanted to shoot the process :blushing:

 

If you've got a bored spare 10 seconds, check out the DFB's (developing fruit bodies) on me site.......

I reckon your boys are being set out on a very interesting road David, If only more kids got such great days out, maybe the world would have more "natural includers" :thumbup1:
