Lowering and rigging kit

Guys,

I have a little bit of spare cash that I intend to use setting me up a lowering and rigging kit. Can people give me their views on what they think I will need. Trees are medium scale I work on as I haven't got the experience yet to tackle the monsters you guys do and the fact there aren't many around where I work!

Look forward to the replies:thumbup:

just use the tail of your rope for medium trees mate :001_smile:

i'd say get a small/medium cast pulley with a 16mm one eye strop, 50m of 14mm multiplait, a capstan (i like the bigger ones, you seem to have more control), a shackle, a whoopie sling and a decent length of 3strand for a tagline. If youve got any cash left a couple of steel crabs, some slings (assorted sizes) and a swingcheek pulley for a secondary lowering point.
