yeah will do rob, my jobs had to be changed to early next week so if i dont hear from them soon, ill end up getting something from hss.Wouldnt mind hiring a jo beau jobbie to see what there like but cannot find anywhere that hires them. Youd think living in a city like manchester there'd be a good few places to hire something from!

I was thinking has butvthey want nigh on £100 for 2 days with a 55mm chipper. Its a last resort. I don't need a big one for the job I've got on. There is always shades of green near Runcorn but I think they only do bigger TW. I can hire a 12" pto timberwolf for £80 per day. I've got a tractor that will run it and has done before. If I really need one I can use that.

It's a shame places don't hire out more of a range of chippers. But I spoke to one guy and he said every time it came back it was battered and abused

yeah two days hire would be a bit much, is there no way you can save it up, cut one day and chip another? you get 20% off if you hire and return the same day at hss.

I was planning to do that with the big one if I use that. I'm on good terms with the guy who owns it. Plus he owes us half a tank of red diesel for the tractor. So there's a good chunk saved. Has want about £60 for a day so 20% off that would be a good saving. I what I'm cutting off is mainly on it's limit fir the little chipper so I'd rather use the bigger one
