Buying a Chipper

Hi Everyone.

 

I am looking to buy a second hand chipper, I am thinking a Vermeer 625 or a Jensen...

 

I am based in Surrey, and if possible do not want to have to drive half way across the country to look at one and buy it.. I do not mind a couple hour drive if needs be, but preferably somewhere in or around Surrey..

 

Has anyone any ideas of anywhere I could go that would have a decent selection... or know of anyone that is selling ?

I know you dont want to drive the length of the country, but there is an excellent machine down here for sale which would probably sell for about 2.5k, as he is desperate to sell, and would happily take a hit on the value if someone offered cash...

BTW there is a world of difference between the two makes you have mentioned IMO. The vermeer is a better built machine I think.

maybe there aren't tons of replies because no one has knowledge of chippers for sale,,, as steve said, there's a classified section on the right, or the stores selling new,
