as far as i know mate, there was an 038mag, 056mag and 056mag II, all being larger displacement than the AV and Super versions of those saws.

 

in later models the magnum designation was just a marketing ploy and means nothing... like farmboss, its just a word to entice out american friends.

as an aside... US saw wise;

 

arctic = heated handles/carb

 

R = 3/4 wrap handle, larger clutch cover, big dogs/roller chain catcher, higher output oiler (in the MS460R at least) and slightly different size chainbreak handle (in the 066/660) to allow proper clearance between it and the wrap handle.
