Am I right in hearing that the home team pulled out of the competition on Saturday. Anyone know the full reason? Congrats to all who took part and to the eventual winners. Well done.

Thanks also to the organisers for putting on a good show and encouraging visiters and exhibitors alike to attend.

Where too were the mad axemen?

i think the reason they pulled out of the comp was due to the way they were on friday night. to many cold ones i think. i heard they had caused problems and were generally making a show of them selves so the college pulled them out.

only heard this on the grape vine though so dont take it as hard fact.

i just hope there werent lads from capel who had put effort into the comp and were trying to get there heads down and couldnt and didnt get to compete due to their mates.

as for the axe men. what a opportunity missed. always put on a good show.
