Todays job reduction

Had to 30% the tree was cut before at 50% long while ago 5-10 years. Unfortunatly not many growth points to cut to. We had 10ft of branches at 30% level with no leaf only at the last 4 ft of the trees crown.

 

 

 

 

 

We left the last bit on to be different lol

there is nodes you still could of target pruned too below the stubs ,why leave the stubs???it would of left a more natural shape....and resulted in less of a dormant bud explosion ,you would of had to of knocked more of the right shoulder but this is a constructive comment so please dont take offence....nice shape ....just hate stubs

I would have shaved a little but more of the sides looking at the first 2 pics but looks fine in the third. Are those stubs cut to growing points?

 

I hate reducing a previus reduction. Lots of cuts to make, normally pretty rubbish anchor point not my favourite way to work on a tree atal.
