So ... last autumn, I came across this tree and decided to refer to it by the name SKULL RACK.

 

The thought or question came to mind if a redwood with this kind of trunk could be free climbed rock style by fist jamming.

 

The trunks reminds me of the walls in a rock climbing gym.

im going to try and get out as many weekends as i can this year so i can get back into the swing of things, was ment to be going out today but never got due to the weather, so will try again next weekend

yeah,could free climb the top seen as how the branches were so close together, did u notice how many trees there r in chch?

 

sure did notice you're not going to run out off work any time soon.

 

think am going to save up some pennies and get out there in the future for a holiday looks amazing there whatsthe prices of flights to get there cant be botherd surfing the web to find out ha lol

cool,i paid about $2500-$3000 return 2 yrs ago,could be a wee bit less now.

 

not that bad really concidering the distance deffo bet out there in a couple of years time going to see if my mates up for a wee adventure.

cool,im sure ull love it,you have to go to wiopou (sp) forest to see tana mahuta!

 

am going to surf about and plan it a little better hopfully be able to get out in a year or so
