Behold the mighty 'xplore'.

Xplore Technologies

Tablet PC designed to withstand the rigors of military life- the cold of the frozen North. The heat of Iraq. The dust of Afghanistan. The moistness of the open Indian ocean.

It laughs at the wilds!

You therefore have to wonder how this happened to the screen on Friday.

It spent its day relaxing on the front seat of the Freelander with a couple of phones and some paperwork for company, whist the rest of us slogged away clearing trees overhanging pole mounted substations.

Amazingly, the touchscreen still works, so it can still work aswell.... although TBH its main occupation these days is remote arbtalking :-).

Can't help but think were living on borrowed time......Maybe an IPhone next...

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
