HELP!!! web design noddy!

O.k just bought some domain names, and an instant site package via 123-reg.com however I seem unable to edit the template banners to alter the totaly irelevant photo image installed!

 

Do I need software for web design?

 

has anyone got experience of 123-reg .com?

 

I need to do some IT night classes!

I too have bought domain names of 123-reg and haven't yet made a site so his thread will be interesting for me also.

Unless you are familiar with dreamweaver and are competant at editing HTML code those instant site packages are not worth using imo. On the other hand, if you can write code then you wouldn't need to use instant site either. Decent software to design sites and manipulate images is more expensive than paying to have it done anyway. With web sites, usually you get what you pay for, unless you know what you are doing.

It was factual, from a person who appraises web sites every day of the week and knows whats worth using and what will be a waste of time. Actually thats unfair, not a waste of time, just much less effective.

There is a much, much better way of doing what you are trying to achieve, if you know what to do. Or you know someone who knows what to do:001_tt2:
