I am after a short 10m to 15m length of 50mm rope of a conventional three strand construction with relatively stretchy quality something like Nylon to act a little like KERR, I.e. to alivate shock loading that you would get from wire or HMPE etc when towing something.

Any clues?

Tried asking Jonesie?

no I haven’t tried any of the arb related places as it would not be normal for them to have it in stock I would have thought, so the chance of having some short off-cuts or reel ends from orders is slight.

Hi B101UK

Do you have a breaking strength in mind? Have you considered using a more static rope with a shock absorber built in.

Cheers
