No-one was questioning your honesty, but merely stating that a piece of equipment is crap does nothing to educate or inform. If you are going to post your opinions you should at least try to include your reasons for them.

Komet have been making tree harnesses for a number of years, and are among the better manufacturers. They have many satisfied users in many countries. So clearly they are not crap. This is not to say that the Dragonfly is for everyone.

You say the leg loops are uncomfortable. Now we are getting somewhere. What other harnesses of a similar type have you tried that are more comfortable? Have you tried altering the adjustment of the leg loops to make them fit better? You might just find someone else on this forum has some tips to make it work better for you!

Dont think so i have had one for 2 years or so and love it would happily replace it with another. What experinece have you had of them being "s***!" and as someone else pointed out it's very popular.

I was'nt even aware the dragonfly had leg loops??

Its a seat harness, and as such has loops to prevent you sliping through the harness upto your elbows, so I had mine set as loose as possible, which meant the seat could move about freely, I prefered the seat high seated around my sit bones of my ass, this way it did'nt put pressure on my hips or force my legs together.

Now I climb in a leg loop harness and much prefer it over a seat style Dragonfly, its still a very good durable seat harness imo.
