Took this sycamore down today. Was quite a big tree for me :blushing. Didn't have a massive girth but was quite tall. Split into 3 stems so plenty of fire wood :thumbup1:.

 

Just used the old school porta wrap, whoopie and pulley to rig it out. Not a bad job for two of us.

 

(could have done with mozza's help but hes off supping sangria in the sun :lol:)

cheers for the replys. Was fun untill all the logs had to be pounded onto the truck :lol:.

 

Was a bit wobbly up top. Rigged a couple of the stems down in one big chunk which saved juggling about chogging at that height :thumbup1:

If it was a bit on the big side on first viewing for where your'e at, at the moment, you seem to have carried it out in a very competent way. What youv'e done is extend your'e comfort zone in a responsible way. So the next time one like this won't be intimidating.

 

This is a good way to learn and progress, challenging yourself in as safe a way as is possible in this game. Good oh, keep it up, you can rest easy knowing that I approve:thumbup1:

Well done mate looks a good job same as what paulsbrash said had my younger brother finish a big one off recently he wasn't too keen but within 5 mins in the top you couldn't get the smile off his face hel breeze the smaller ones now as will you
