Pentrometer

Would be appreciative of a nod in the direction of where I can get my hands on one.

 

Basically want to measure soil compaction on Veteran tree root plates, before & after diverting footfall/paths etc....

 

 

Preferably something like this.......

Was thinking around fabricating one possibly, if import is too much hassle.

.

 

Get the pucka item, shipping wont be agro, im getting one too when i have payed off the bat course! want a fractometer too.

Have been thinking about this some more and magnus you have not said exactly what you plan to do but penetrometer results are very variable if you are looking o show improvements in bull density and porosity there are better ways of doing it

 

The soil penotrometer is adequate for basic evaluation, but if you have something of interest marcus then please elaborate as this is something I wish to learn more about.:001_smile:
