we hand reared 2 squirrels i was choggin down a tree n killed the mother n couple of the babys by an accident, so took the two remaining home (eyes closed and no fur) found the formula on the internet what to feed them then fed them with a teet on something similar to a syringe, they were great fun they used to tease the parrot, nick its nuts then leg it while the parrot chased them then theyd sit on 1 of our shoulders eating the nut knowing the parrot wouldnt come near us

Well done Simon, lovely story.....just hope they were red ones???? :001_smile:

Thats class Simon :thumbup1:

We did the same with a fox and used to walk it like a dog on the lead, got some right looks, but the call of the wild was too strong and eventually it went off into the wood one day and never came back

Ha mint! me father used to have a fox just before i was born apparantly,

No unfortunately these were grey so in the end we hit them with a hammer..............................................................

only joking 1 got out window but came back then you could tell they wanted to be away in the wild so we let them go, and yes i know they vermon i used to hunt them with my harris hawk, well started too before i had to sell him.
