I'm surprised that with your cycling background you dont make a visit to the continent for some quality racing shots John.

Hadn’t really thought of that one Mick, I might do a few open 10 & 25’s though – would be interesting how they come out….might even be a few pretty ladies in skin-suits! :001_smile:

Yes mate, point taken – unfortunately the 12-24 lens doesn’t accept filters of any description, but thanks anyway. :001_smile:

Surely theres a Kokin adapter that will fit your lens?

Would really make a difference to the depth of blue to the sky, its contrast with the clouds, take the glare off and saturate colours.

I will shut up now!

This is the lens I’m using, when I bought it there were no filter adaptors available but the excellent reviews the lens received compensated for this. If you can find a system I’ll be in your debt mate!

Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G ED AF-S

I know of one.

Try not to use the old Photoshop but very handy now and again!

The first image is virgin and in my opinion the sky is too bright and takes the emphasis off the Bugatti. In the second pic I’ve darkened the sky down a little and hopefully put the car back into the centre of the picture.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. Takes vision to notice what a photo needs to "put it right".

Oh and the doctored one is the one I was after.
