The customer was happy to say the least especialy as i did it for free :scared:

 

last freebie shroom I did left me with a hole in the toecap of my boot.

Very commendable of you, think you ought to charge in future, as the wear and tear on chains and bars is higher than normal saw work.

 

very true...but it is fun...i would be happy with that deer man loverly colours in that walnut by the looks of your finished piece but the cause of death for my last 200t was an ash stump to chair with G + t holder!

Cool! Well I'm going to give it a go then. I'll post a pic soon as my master piece is finished, either that or I'll be posting pic's from hospital. LOL

I am doing an Ash Takedown at the weekend and i've been asked if i can make a chair. Don't want to make it complicated so it should be a lot easier than fungi! Any body got any pics or ideas?

Nice simple one, this is ash, just round the corners off.

That looks spot on! Should have said she wants a section of the but making into a chair so she can move it round the garden so it will need to be light enough for the old girl!

That looks so simple but great! We've done i once before but i will admit it didn't look as good as that.:icon14:
