Thrush

Had a Mistle Thrush nesting in a Beech at the bottom of the garden, three chicks fledged yesterday morning. Took these while they were doing a bit of branch walking, parent still close by and bringing the odd worm for encouragement before they took the leap of faith. Thankfully they all flew albeit not very gracefully.

Seen the same thing myself today at my Dads, didnt have the camera with me though:thumbdown:

 

Even got a telling off by the mother for getting a bit too close, still a nice sight to see:thumbup:
