MS 192T where from?

Dear tree lovers,

 

Where can i get a American spec MS 192T from? They are not available in the U.K, did"nt know of anyone in the USA that knows a Stihl dealer that sells them and ships to the U.K at a fair price.

I cant really help answer your question as I don't know where my boss had his from.

 

I would say, don't bother putting too much effort into getting hold of one. If you're used to using the 200T then the 192T will feel dissappointing. The only thing we ever really used it for was while working from a cherry picker making lots of little cuts. It got so little use we sold it and put the money towards a 200T

Try ebay im a old man now of 63 and i have rist probs when i climb 3 days a week i find this small saw is ok, tip, i put a 10,, bar on it and really keep it sharp, the lads do take the piss but i get the job done. Topperbob.

Good on you Bob, you've got 20 years on me and i reverted to a 192 years ago:blushing:

We use em all the time... I'd really love to have a 200TC, but we just got a 192 a couple days ago instead. Darn it.

Ebay is definitely the place to go. Go to the bottom of the EBAY site and click United States. Then do your Stihl 192 search (they're all over!).

Thank you for all your reply"s. I"ve realised of late after using a friends MS170 that there is a hole in the U.K market for a light pruning chainsaw. MS192t exists as you know but not in the U.K why is that? All my saws are stihl but i find the Ms200t a little heavy/powerful for light applications, hence a Ms192t is needed.
