been practing aerial rescues off single line, and climber on normal tree frog system. not to bad if there on locked off footlockline, but if the bowline to stem at top, makes bit more tricky.

i found footlock up, on there line then clip into the bridge so u are right next to them, then up prussik/carabeineer high as u can, ur system in. lift them out using 2-1 with ur body weight. lock of under ur line, then take them of ascenders then lower

pretty good system, but not the fastest.

any other ideas?

i show pics but my laptop slow as

been practing aerial rescues.

:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

awesome good to see im not the only one who practices things all the time.

there are ways of doing it i know in some comps it is now a rescue scenario so there are variations to it for sure. to be honest i use srt which is a different way of doing things all together.

i havent read your post to well coz im off out but i believe if you get the casualty down and you are safe while doing so then there is nothing wrong with any technique.

ill post some pics up tomoz when i have time.

you could clip em to you, add an ascender above you. clip a krab into the ascender pass a foot lopp through the krab. attach the footlopp to them then stand on it to unweight their ascenders and get them out, then decend. don't know if it'd work, just what i thought.

if they're anchord onto the tree with no means of lowering them. if you can climb past them you could get up, set up a lowering system for them, descend to them and cut their rope when they're safely under control of the ground staff.

could this technique be used to rescue a climber on doubled rope?

ie injured climber suspended from his bowline/pruss etc,

rescuer ascends the trailing end of the climbers line, using SRT ascending techniques...

then clips himself to the injured climber, and descend.

or is this a tried and tested technique that i should probably already know about :blushing: .....
