now then you clever bunch!

as per the nptc site, the newly changed cs 33(large) to cs 33(specialist) is now to be changed to an even newer cs 49.

does this mean the old cs33 (large) is re-introduced to the scheme, as the blurb now says its incorporated into 32.

as any assessor needs to be inducted into this as per the rest of the suit, cs49 may take a while to get going.

as im still waiting for a cs33(large) or it was when i started! is it still worth going for?

Having a read of it all large tree felling no longer exists. CS32 now covers large trees. The CS49 will be specialist tree felling i know there is one guy on here who has done it, well it was cs33 then.

Thats annoying.

I have a gap on my NPTC cs card where cs33 should be, and I have always ment to fill it.

I never had the need for old CS33 as I don't come across many trees that big to fell.

Thought the new CS33 unit would be not only useful, but would complete my CS collection.

Guess I left it too late. Rats!

Is for the new unit (CS 49), It looks like this may take some time to launch, as the assessors are to go through a standard setting event / technical evaluation.

I think I will leave it for a few months yet then!

i have cs33, when thi comes round forthe refresher will it then change to cs49?

there wasnt much difference between 32 and 33, just the trees were bigger, and when they got hung up, they really got hung up.
