I should have thought Clarke Cut and Climb (in the advertisers banner down the right hand side) is your closest.

Highly recommend clarks in Dumfries (bit of a drive) or gustharts in the borders somewhere.

Hi Lucky - we're actually a bit north of Dumfries (half way between Dumfries & Moffat in fact), roughly an hour from Edinburgh if that's where you're coming from? And it's an excuse to drive down the Devils' Beeftub road (A701), which isn't to be sniffed at!

 

If you want to speak to us before making the trip, we'll be more than happy to make sure we've got the stuff you're looking for in stock to see and try.

 

We've got a harness testing rig in the showroom, loads of ropes/carabiners and goodies on display etc and if you time it right someone might even make you a cuppa while you're in!

Alpha plus used to do some stuff, but they wouldn'tdo anything out of the ordinary like cut a length of prussic cord, it was the whole reel or nothing.

 

What are you after? there are a few folks on here from teh edinburgh area who may be able to advise / let you play around with stuff

Puzzled monkey in perth went bust, there is Scotish grass machinery in Rosyth has a small selection and there is one in Kilsyth but I can't remember the name. I drive to Gustharts myself from Edinburgh it doesn't take very long.
