Anyone got an Alaskan mill i can borrow for a few days round the Leeds area, got a big ass beach to start on Monday with a 4 foot main stem i can fell at about 12' and it seems a real shame to send it for logs. Ta

Hi Ian

 

I have a mill, its not an alaskan but a genuine STIHL, vintage 1990’s. I used it last week for the first time in ages and it still works, comes with a bar and chain.

 

It’s bigger than an alaskan so you will need a big power head for it, it’s on .404 chain. If you haven’t got a suitable one I can lend you my 084.

Thats great Andy, i have an 88 for power so im ok there, can i pop over at the weekend for the mill and guard?
