started off it needed a new diaphragm kit so i put that in but it wasnt right so i put a new feul filter in it, still wasnt right so i was told to strip the carb n clean it out with an airline which i did and got it running then whilst using it in the woods to do some brashing it started to rev quite high whilst in use then spluttered a bit n konked out, now it wont idle and is a pain to start.

i have checked both the inlet and outlet or scoring of the piston and its fine but it wont run for any length of time now.

anyone got any ideas ????

every possibility jamie, stripped it back down today, checked the feul line and the breather pipe also cleaned out the tank and the carb again, set it back to factory settings and it fires up and runs but wont idle for any length of time.

the breather filter seems to be a bit clogged but then again are they supposed to be free flowing ????

Don't know if it's the same thing but we had some issues over here with dodgy carbs on the ms200t. Had to replace mine completely but a mate has spent a small fortune trying to get his hedge trimmer running right and finally had to buy a new carb too.
