That happened possibly a month ago. Fletcher Stewart had been the agents for 25 years - I remember Tom Nixon trying to sell me one back in 1988, it was too dear for my pocket then. It would have been good of Salaen to do something in the press thanking F/S for all their hard work but "there's no budget for it". The factory in Riga that TS (Tunnisen) own has spare capacity so could end up making the Salaen range there. Sales in this country will be done by Jean Sebastion Vecten for Eric Hunter based in Maidenhead. Incidently, Eric Hunter is also owned by Salaen and Salaen are apparantly the biggest manufacturer in France making some 600 machines of various sizes each year. I've been told that Fletchers can still be contacted for spares and technical aqdvice for those who own a TS/QuickChip.
