ASH 8' 8" 25cm Brown heart is tolerated, but White Ash commands premium, should be winter felled

BEECH 7' 12" 33cm All grades of sound wood wanted

BURRS

(all species) 6' 20" 66cm No "in-bark". Fresh elm burr particularly wanted

CHERRY 8' 9" 33cm Some butt rot tolerated in veneer and planking butts

SWEET CHESTNUT 6' 8" 25cm Sound logs only - Summer or winter felled

ELM 6'6" 12" 38cm All grades of sound wood wanted

BROWN OAK 8' 15" 48cm Only clean butts wanted

OAK VENEER 9' 18" 54cm Absolutely clean logs, preferably fresh winter felled unless of exceptional quality

OAK PLANKING 6'6" 14" 45cm Tolerating epicormic growth and small pin knots

OAK SCANTLING 12' 14" 45cm Dead straight. Tolerating small knots

LIME 7' 13" 33cm Must be reasonably clean, white and fresh

SYCAMORE 7' 10" 33cm Plain or figured planking and veneer butts, winter felled October - March

WALNUT 7' 16" 54cm Sound logs preferably with root on

YEW 6' 8" 29cm Sound logs, not excessively fluted plain or pippy, but all offers will be inspected
