East of England Update

Those of you who have enrolled will be recieving your tickets and related info in the next couple of weeks.

 

Anyone planning to compete who hasn't enrolled yet, you ain't got long to get the form in.

 

Enrollment is not compulsory but if you turn up on the day you'll have to pay to enter the site, and you'll be in line behind the enrolled competitors.

oow i still cant decide, i really want to but dont want to make a fool of myself. is the climb challenging or is it more about just getting around quickly?

you won't make a fool of yourself mate. Its mainly a laugh.

yer but you have probably been climbing for years. you dont have to foot lock into the tree or anything fancy like that do you?

jay you can enter the tree however you want. im going to be body thrusting

In fact the lines are probably too close to the tree to footlock anyway. No-one bothered last year. One guy did the first year, didn't give him much of an advantage.

i'd say by the time you set up your Ddrt after footlocking you wouldnt have gained a thing

Do we have or where do I find a published set of rules for the East of England climbing comp?
