Its my old Kodak DX6490 from about 2004..

 

A whopping 4MP !!! But good enough lense so its takes good pictures.

Mine doesnt do time lapse either, but I found a remote control that would. Dont think the Kodak takes a remote control though?

It is old innit!! Takes great pictures though. The thing that really shows its age is the shutter delay and the time it takes to get ready for next shot!

 

Sport mode helps with shutter delay,but your still only able to take a picture every 3-4 seconds which is quite a long time!

 

So for trees and scenery its ok.

I've also got a cheap 7MP compact kodak for parties etc. but the colour saturation is very poor for outdoors scenery shots. I just checked it, no time lapse feature.

 

How does the remote work?

Plug it in, does instant shutter release, delayed for 10 sec, and timelapse. Set the number of shots and the interval, and it fires one off automatically.

 

Might do some other stuff as well, but thats all I use it for.

My older camera (above) has got an extra socket, looks like a tiny jack socket. Would that be for a remote? Its not for an extra flash, its not USB or charging.

 

It could be for a mic for video, but I don't know?
