Newton Rigg Problems

I have been using Newton Rigg in Penrith for my training for a number of years, last year the lad that works for me went up there and did 38/39, that was in october. We are still waiting to get him assessed. I have rung loads of times to find out whats going on, they say they will get back to me and never do. finally i have got someone to give me some answers. They say that the 3 other people on the course dont want to get assessed so my lad has to wait till they have 3 other people to do the assessment. That was 6 months ago. its an absolute disgrace, i am looking into sending him elsewhere, it will cost more money no doubt. what a joke.

really sounds like your lad has been let down . since his assessment has been paid for then you are intitled to demand an assessment and due to the fact that he has been waiting 6 months to be assessed then he should have a 2 day refresher for free followed by an assessment . i know of an assessment day down here in cornwall next week for cs38 and 39 .

Hey mate. If you can find out where your man is registered through and get the CARF forms then i would be happy to assess him.

I am in Lancashire and have a few odd 38/39 assessments to tie in in the next month and you need two 38's to do the rescue element so it can't be done with one candidate.

Pm the name of your man and i can check tommorrow where he regisered and if i can get the forms from LAC.
