well why dont you put it on a proper saw then:wave:

i personnally wont buy anything else other than a full chisel, if im cutting bad timber i find a part worn or a damaged chain and just use that.

why do new chains always manage to find the only nail in a 40foot stem?:cussing::cussing::cussing:

Clean wood chisel.

Dirty wood semi-chisel.

right tool for the right job

theres a greater risk of kick back/vibration from a full chisel on a low powered saw.

i guess thats a double, right tool for the right job, or right chain for the right saw:alberteinstein:

just the way it is! im gutted about buying a semi chisel but i got a lot of crappy wood to shift and the brand new chisel i brought for that bar was for a 16 " not a 20" so 4links short but as i said i got a lot timber thats ben sitting for 4+ years so probably for the best..thing is i find a slightly blunt chisel cuts like a sharp semi

Thats how I would have put it.

Arb work seems to have more debris/chain contact than forestry. I specify semi from my chain man but have some full as well for most saws in the fleet.
