Just a bit tim. The road from the ferry on the way home is well steep- low first all the way to the top......with the odd wheelspin at the front too....As they say-"when needs must, the devil drives.."

Had to get the flippin winch out today too....I hate self recovery, but my god it was sticky and slimy...:thumbdown:

Hi Tommer,

 

How much are they taking off you every day on the Ferry? Last time I did it on the bike it was £1.50. I think its the most expensive ferry crossing in the country when it come to price v distance.

 

Good to see a landy in its natural habitat!

It should have been £14 a day for landy and trailer, but we had an arrangement with the ferry co and also bought concession books which made it alot cheaper. You want any firewood- i have alot....

we have a ferry trip from largs to cumbrae. takes 8 mins. £6 for bikes, £4 passenger i think, £25 for a car. i took the mog over 5 years ago and it was £154 with 3 of us in the cab.:thumbdown:
