Climate Change and Tree Disease

 

Nowton Park and Village Hall

near Bury St Edmunds Suffolk An Arboricultural Association, East Anglian branch, event with St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

 

A one day workshop led by David Rose, Head of Tree Health Advisory Service for Forest Research, the Research Agency of the Forestry Commission. The morning session will be a presentation examining topical pest and diseases and the influence of climate change. This will be followed in the afternoon by a guided walk around Nowton Park, looking at pest and diseases amongst its wide range of fine trees.

 

Price per person £50 including buffet lunch.

Thanks for the heads up - i live in Bury so easy to get to.

I have walked around Nowton Park quite a few times, but it would be interesting to get an experts view on the trees.

Can you please change the title of your post? This event is actually a Pest and Disease event with an emphasis on the effects of climate change to P+D.

It's aimed at practical arborists, hence the £50 squid price tag, and a good oppurtunity to hang out with David Rose.
