no antiroll bar till next week geoff, before the helper springs were fitted the chain used to tap along the road a bit haha, and the towbar and loop on the chipper would catch on steep drives, yesterdays drive was well steep and didnt catch..well happy:thumbup1:

is the ride noticably more spine jarring with the helper springs when unladen ?

Mines a converted 110 CSW with the girly Station Wagon springs (and no roll bar) and is bumpy enough - but I guess it's no problem if you're towing a chipper around!

The anti roll bar makes a world of differance, and the springs are I find a bit hard when no load on the back.

Love the sound of security chain touching the road with a full load on the way home!

went past the land rover centre today (im still up so no its not tomorrow yet), and got a price for all the necessary bits to convert standard 110 hicap to helper sprung legal looking even when overloaded hicap, if that makes sense?:confused1: helper springs £16+vat each, top retainer £14.40+vat each, bottom retainer £18+vat, obviously you would need 2x of each part, total £113.74 and it should take half an hour per side to fit including brew break:thumbup1:
