Good thread Rob, very interesting link.

The good Dr looks like he leads an interesting life.

Can you indulge my ignorance, but what is the black box on the rig?

Thanks for posting.

Forgot to congratulate you on your 5000th post there Dave!!

They are indeed! But hang on as I'll be putting up a list of special offers in the next couple of days one of which will be the mini mill!

I need a mill for my 48" ms880, will they be on special?

The precision grinder looks hand too!

I'd say I sharpen with the precision grinder 90% of the time. It is for me the best tool for sharpening a chainsaw for under £100 I have ever come across. Use it in the workshop, out in a field and the best thing is you can sharpen while the chainsaw is still in the mill.

Fiddly when you open the box, a doodle when you're used to it....

The Alaskans won't be on special but you still get 10% of a 48" so it'll be £180-00 instead of £200 with Arbtalk discount.

Just think of the gates Cracker!

You'll have to resort to a power tool to do the plugging then!
