Anyone know a good source?

I've found a few places that'll charge for a download, but there is no knowing if they are any good or not.

I managed to find a download via a torrent site for Stihl. however not all saws were included, others I needed were found by other means.

(Probably shouldn't link to those kind of sites on here).

But they are available and free if you know where to look.

The manuals are on line some place .I don't have a clue where though .People just send me CD's already down loaded . Some of us kind of have a "network " :001_smile: It's the worlds chainsaw "underground " often talked about but seldom seen .

Hi Al Smith

Happy Easter my mate has a problem well severall actually first he "not me I run a hussey with oil in"ran his Makita DCS 4600 without oil.

It did damage and wouldnt run for long so I persuaded him that it wasnt such a job finding out the problems.

Well both the main bearings are goosed and the piston had picked up and the ring is stuck in the groove.

Not so bad you may say but I suddenly had a bout of insomnia dementia call it what you will the machine is in bits all over the bench and I have an idea that if I try to put it back together without a manual I will have plenty of bits left.

Please can you help not by coming here but pointing my in a direction where I can find said manual.

Over here the manufacturers allow the suppliers to download all that stuff but us mear mortals must pay the proper price
