milled elm

milled some elm this afternoon that i felled 2 year ago, hope to put it to good use around the estate a basic bench my first thing i been asked to make

here is a some of what did with the elm i milled and have got a coulple bords left to make one more bench and had a few off cuts to make some shelves,and a sign, used a oak post that i also milled.it my first bench so hope to get better at making them:001_smile:

cheers cracker,i like the way that no bench will ever be the same and have character with making good use of local timber better than mass produced ones,

Great bench. I have made a few benches similar to this and they do a great job of showing off the wood without taking too much time.
