Hi, I live in North Norfolk, not far from Sandringham.  I wondered if tree surgeons ever swap labour for logs?  I have my own well established gardening business and have my CS30/31 and experience with chippers.  I'm happy to do a days tree labour work in exchange for (ideally seasoned) logs.  I am only around every other week and have my own clients, so notice would be required.  I can't just come at the drop of a hat unfortunately, but if I commit to a date, I'll be there.

Let me know if this is of interest to you.

Regards, Darren

I think you would be better off working some more for your own clients and then pay log merchant to deliver you cut , split and seasand logs . If you were happy to take unseasoned arb waste that would be adifferent thing .

Ah ok.  I'm in the process of building another log store, so yes, maybe I should focus on unseasoned logs.  I can't seem to edit the original post, so I may copy, amend it and post it in a different forum as I'm not sure this was the right one anyway.  Thanks for the suggestion.
