Yes I have used a 230 sometime ago and agreed it was quite an improvement in the hopper and feed roller area, the 150 has quite a narrow hopper as it leads to.the rollers. The biggest gripe about a 150 is the god forsaken bearings and having to take it all apart to replace, that and my track base is pretty well past it.

When employed we had the 6inch safe track, Isuzu motor, great wee machine, far better than a 150. 
 

im assuming whatever you’re looking at you’ll want varitrack?

Sounds like the 16-23 SafeTrack  ?

Unfortunately no longer in production due to the engine emissions regs , a brilliant chipper if you can track one down although most owners tended to keep hold of them.

I agree in it being potentially better than the AT150 which had a fixed track base.

The Tracked EVO 165 is a very capable 6" machine.
