can anyone advise me been looking at doing some courses and i wanted to know if the isa study guides are beneficial i am looking at doing the rfs level 2. i seen somebody on here had said they bought it went and sat the rfs exam and past. just wanted to know if the information in the study guide had any relevance to the rfs before blowing £78 on something that would only be as useful as a dinner mat.

please advise me please before im £78 out of pocket thanks.

ive done both isa and rfs,

i did my isa 1st and found it helped prepare for the rfs. the study guide is well worth the money.

But if I had to do it all again I would do rfs 1st then book the test for isa as both are pretty much the same.

so then its worth parting with £78 sheets then? has the study guide got all tree law, biology and the likes of in it? been on the isa web site and its a bit vague, the one i was looking at was the one with the cds but what it does not say is whats on them. can anyone elaborate on this please? thanks very much.

The books worth the money and a ideal starting point, the cds are just someone reading the book i personally wouldn't bother just get the book if you can. The book covers all sections ive got 2 study guides 1 with a blue cover which is a uk edition and a black one which was a us/aus one but came with some additional bits for the tpos , etc.

the study guide is well worth the money as to get all the info from books would cost a fortune ive just spent £72 on 2 books 1 for fungi id and 1 for vta and i think the isa guide covers about 10-12 different sections if i recall correctly
