Otherwise the swivel will need replacing most Lolers.

From wearing on the bridge rope? I'd have expected the device friction links to wear quicker, interesting to know.

One thing I like about the ISC swivel is that it fits two Karabiners. Just a tidy place to keep a second Karabiner for MRS when you need it.

I have a bit of OCD so I like to use same manufacturer/colour karabiners with each device. These ISC black ones do work well with it.

Then i aas going to mention earlier about using it choked on a stem. It works great. Using a pulley to capture the tail end of rope is good.

But you need to careful using other connectors as there is a slight chance of capturing the upper flap. This picture was done on purpose to show what I mean....

I'll try and get a better pic, but the upper of the two safety flaps could get bent if caught under/inside a connector like the quickie and then loaded with body weight. Of course if its set correctly then its fine.

I keep a small ring on one of my ropes for the purpose, pop the knot through the ring and a biner to lock it. Thats not going to be nice with a mechanical as it would sit on the links. Spliced eye rope is no problem to put it on when needed, but it'll try to fall off at every opertunity.

I do plan to get one but I will likely stay with a simple prussik for stem work.
