My horizontal anvil sheared off and spat itself out the chute, is there anything you would recommend replacing while I have it stripped? I was looking to see online where the anvil goes etc but I’m a bit lost. If anyone has done this or has pictures it would be fantastic. This is the current shape I have it sitting in

If its horizontal anvil that's a lump of metal to go through chipper, would of thought its damage discharge fan.

But I can't see how it been thrown out as it's got to get past or through blades.

Vertical anvil in its entirety went through my ForstST8, made a funny noise for a bit then clang! and out it came.

I think there’s space under the rotor disc, between it and the chamber for it to pass underneath.

I would replace both anvils, rotor bearings, and check rotor fans for damage.

I think they replaced the old ally fans made of cheese for better ones at some point, may be worth checking with your dealer.
