As a new business owner, I discovered a VAT calculation issue on invoices. Over the past two months, I have overestimated VAT, resulting in a total excess of ₱20,000-₱30,000.

My accountant, who charges a monthly retainer fee of ₱10,000 (plus VAT), did not identify the issue. I'm not sure if they should review these computations or just record them.

Can I recover the excess VAT I paid?

How do you mean?

You have paid too much VAT or not been reimbursed enough or what?

What currency does that sign represent?
