Hello all,

Im new to buying unprocessed wood and have only previously bought by the tonne.

I can buy ash + oak, felled last year and at roadside in 2.5M lengths for £60 m3. Is this a decent price? Elsewhere I can buy oak / ash @ £87.50 / T.

I have a further opportunity to buy some larch and Douglas fir- felled more recently - and will discuss the price in person. What should I expect to pay here - again in m3?

I will resell some and keep a minority for personal use - probably 80/20 split.

Thank you all for advice.
