Hi all, I have done a bit of tree planting over the last couple of seasons. Mostly all broard leave trees that have to be guarded. I very much see myself still new to the job but really enjoy it. I have been asked to do a beat up job on a site that was planted by someone else. The trees are Douglas fir and don't need to be guarded. I haven't visited the site yet so not sure as for terrain etc. I have never done a beat up job before. Just wondering what the current rates are? I know every site is different but a rough guide would be very helpful.

Many thanks.

Thanks very much for the reply. I think agreeing a day rate with the customer rather than a per tree price is the sensible route. At least until I have gained enough experience to know better!

Thanks again 👍

It's got to be day rate, if no one knows how many want replacing. You could walk a big plantation all day and only plant 100 trees and that's going to be peanut for a days work.
