Yeah, TD5 has a bit more go, but thats until it breaks something LOL.Get rid of those baby tires too and get some 285s...they make the truck look like a proper Tonka toy......

yeh,235s are std size but if i go bigger my speedo will be wrong and on td5s they are digtal so lots of dosh. some td5s did have problems but 300tdi are prone to cracking heads,"p" gaskets leaking etc.etc.

lots and lots and lots of TD5,s have problems! they are no better or worse than any other land rover engine when it comes to problems they all have good points and they all certainly have bad uns.

as far as limits are concerned I don't care as I never travel much above 55-60 as anything above that is very easy but it just cains fuel consumption!

i agree but several large hauliers disagree! one very large uk haulage firm has just reduced its limiters to 52mph as they say over their fleet it will save 1 million pounds a year in diesel! lots more hauliers are following suit so get used to it!

Thats fine.

As long as the rest of us are going quicker than the artic's then not a prob, its when someone is doing 55 and there is a q of artics trying to over take:thumbdown:
